FAQ
#Overview
Common questions about using LawyerPara day to day. For deeper troubleshooting, see Troubleshooting.
#Questions
#Where is the documentation portal?
Open /documentation. It always opens the current version (/documentation/1.1.0), and older links such as
/documentation/1.0/... redirect there.
#Super Admin vs Firm Admin?
Super Admin runs the platform. Firm Admin runs one practice’s /admin panel.
Staff permissions hide menus. Edit the user under Staff.
There is no Super Admin Users menu. Create Super Admin at install; create firm managers when adding firms; manage staff under Firm Admin → Staff.
#Emails not scheduled?
Configure and test SMTP. Confirm client email. Ensure the action that sends mail ran (e.g. invoice Send).
#Is there an email when a matter becomes active?
No. The client gets a confirmation when the matter opens, and a thank-you can send on close.
Open Smart Forms → Submissions, pick the response and choose Changes (or click Revised 1×). Each round
shows your request and every answer that changed, before and after. See Smart Forms.
#Does the client get a copy of what they signed?
Yes. After each submission and resubmission the client receives a receipt email with the completed document as a
PDF, as long as the form captured a valid email address.
#"Try a live Smart Form" isn't on the homepage.
A Super Admin needs to choose a showcase form under Landing page → Hero, and that form must be published,
PIN-free and not expired.
#What does the AI badge number mean?
Remaining AI credits for that firm.
#Why isn't my firm website in Google yet?
Add your domain in Google Search Console and submit https://your-domain/sitemap.xml. Firms on their own domain
submit https://their-domain/sitemap.xml. New sites usually appear within a few days to a few weeks. See
SEO & Search Visibility.
#How do other languages appear in search?
Each language enabled under Languages & Currency gets its own address (?hl=fr), listed in the sitemap and on
every page. Translate the page content and SEO fields for that language before enabling it.
#Does LawyerPara work on phones and tablets?
Yes. Every admin screen, firm website, booking step and Smart Form works from 375px wide upwards.
